TURNADO Eggbutt snaffle 14 mm - Sensogan

Now also available as an eggbutt bit – our popular TURNADO bits. The joint of this line is angled forward at 45° to ensure even pressure distribution and prevent pressure on the palate. The shanks of conventional single-jointed bits are manufactured to different lengths, which means that slightly more pressure is always exerted on one side. With a TURNADO bit, you can avoid this problem. The rotation is characterized by a slightly roughened surface (sandblasted) of the mouthpiece in the middle section of the bit. The TURNADO bit is also suitable for horses with mild tongue problems.
Our SENSOGAN bits encourage your horse's chewing activity by specifically stimulating saliva flow. This increases acceptance of the bits – for a happy and motivated four-legged partner by your side.

The classic single-jointed eggbutt snaffle is an ideal everyday bit and is suitable for a wide variety of applications. It's also a good choice for young and sensitive horses, helping to develop and encourage trusting contact. The fixed side pieces of this bit allow for direct transmission of the rein aid to the horse's tongue and lower jaw. They also protect the sensitive corners of the mouth and provide a slight lateral restraint, ensuring a particularly stable position in the horse's mouth.
