"I'm not someone who changes saddles quickly, thinking: the horse is running poorly and is having/is having problems - it needs a new saddle. In the 35 years I've been riding Icelandic horses, I've learned that it's unfortunately not that simple. After all, there are several other crucial factors involved, especially the rider.

The other way around makes more sense: a properly fitting, back-friendly saddle prevents problems. This was the main criterion for me when, after detailed consultation with my daughter Charlotte and Jana Stagneth, as well as intensive testing over several days, I decided on the new ePolar saddle. Fortunately, the saddle fits both of my horses well. Of course, the horses and I needed some time to get used to the new saddle, but positive effects were soon noticeable. I ride primarily cross-country and also go on longer rides.

This is where a good fit and suitable materials are particularly important. Now, after six months, I can say that the new saddle was the right investment, especially since it's quite affordable and therefore offers very good value for money."

I've tried several saddles, and for me, this one is perfect and stands out from the others on the market. It combines comfort with a perfect fit. The saddle conforms to the horse's back incredibly well, allowing for good contact between rider and horse. After just a short time, I noticed how Elli's back muscles had improved.

The positive development in training is also noticeable.

This saddle is a real all-rounder, whether off-road or during training.

Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t follow every trend!

And that's precisely why this post is here: because I'm incredibly enthusiastic about the quality, the craftsmanship, and the mix of tradition and innovation of this bridle, as well as the incomparable advantages of this saddle. These significantly support and simplify training with my horses.

The wider gullet width and the U-shaped gullet plate, as well as the raised panels and their very special wool filling, make it significantly easier for the horses to lift their sternum and give the rider a great riding experience thanks to the very soft seat. The knee rolls are also comfortable, allowing the knee to swing freely, keeping the hips relaxed. I'm thrilled!

I've finally found a saddle that not only offers comfortable seating for the rider but is also optimally adapted to my horse's anatomy. Jana's advice and support are always warm and professional. As a horse physiotherapist, I attach great importance to a perfect fit of the saddle, one that doesn't constrict my mare in any way or irritate sensitive muscular structures.

causes pressure sores.

The eP Fox saddle offers enormous shoulder freedom, and this was immediately apparent in my mare's tölt. The canter is now also significantly higher and more ground-covering, combined with a wonderful seat feeling like I'm on clouds and soft knee rolls that allow my legs to rest comfortably without being constricting.

I am now happy on every ride to have found a saddle that delights both horse and rider.

Switching to the e.Polar Fox (Premium) three weeks ago has proven that you can completely rethink the Icelandic horse saddle. The seating comfort was amazing from the very first time I started riding. I no longer had to "search" for my seat and constantly adjust it; instead, I could sit relaxed and balanced without feeling constrained. My hips can swing freely, and my leg rests naturally on the horse.

One of my horses is even looser in the back, the other has improved in contact.

Both of them run noticeably loose and swinging with the new saddle.

Jana's advice and service were simply top-notch. I believe she's achieved something truly special with the development of this saddle, something that many horses and riders could benefit from. The quality of the premium Italian leather is also excellent and stands out from the mass-produced stuff. I'm extremely happy with the decision to have two new Fox saddles.

'Here's a short feedback after 3 months with the Fox saddle:

I'm so happy! The saddle fits well, is incredibly comfortable, and most importantly, my Bjössa rides beautifully in it and is visibly comfortable.

I feel well-supported and immediately correctly seated. I ride out a lot, and even on multi-hour rides, the saddle is really comfortable. It adapts perfectly to both horse and rider.

Thank you for your excellent advice and the personal on-site appointments for fitting and adjustments. I look forward to seeing you again for the next check-up.'
